COF Passing Procedures
STAND-ON AND GIVE-WAY VESSELS
Overtaking:
A: Vessel A is the give-way vessel and can pass either to starboard or port.
B: Vessel B is the Stand-on vessel and keep course.
Head-on:
Both vessels must alter course to starboard and pass port to port.
Crossing:
Vessel B will keep course and speed and vessel A must give way to starboard.
